下午好！
我下面来简单地说说五年级英语的有关情况。
一、英语学习的现状：
进入五年级了，也进入了一个英语学习的关键时期，细心的家长也许发现了，我们现在的英语由简单的对话变成较长篇幅的短文，单词较多，也有了一些语法知识。所以，你的孩子在三四年级的时候，英语也许没怎么多花功夫，英语还能考个90以上，甚至是95分左右。但是如果你的孩子现在依然像以前那样，只凭上课听听，回家不多读多记，那么英语成绩不可能像三四年级那么优异了。
二、期中考试情况：
这次期中考试，从整体看，大部分考出了自己的真实水平，但仍存在差距较大的不及格个体，最高的98.5分，最低的二三十分。九十分以上的有15个，80分以上有20几个，不及格的有6、7个。从学习情况来分析，后进生的“落后”大多都是因为单词的学习有困难，词汇量少，以致无法理解句子、课文，进而影响解题、作答。只有学好发音，才能把所学的语言材料以正确的形式在脑子里存储下来，以正确的形式使它重现，从而加强对语言的感受，最有效地掌握语法和词汇，提高实际使用的能力。
三、几点学习建议：
英语学习成绩的提高，基于平日的多听、多读、多背、多默，只有平时熟能生巧，一步一个脚印，紧跟教学进程，才能收获成功的果实。
1、关于单词和句子的背诵和默写。
这是基础之基础。每课的单词（包括B部分的单词和书后的单词表中蓝色局部的单词）要求同学能默写，要求同学回家背诵并默写，高质量的默写要做到及时、有效，当然有的'时候还需要反复。
2、关于课文朗读。
在这里我不要求背诵的滚瓜烂熟，只要求能够像说话一样有条理的说出来。要求每篇课文A、B和E局部熟练背诵。C和D需要能看图说话。
3、关于考试
英语这门学科和语数不一样的地方在于它的灵活多变性，它的题型可以千变万化，但它的变化总是建立在一个不变的基础上的，那就是这些基础知识：单词，短语，句型。一旦基础的东西掌握了，不论它怎么变，万变不离其宗。
最后我想说的是，我们每一位英语老师至少教两个班，工作量是很大的，我们力量是微小的，只有有了你们的加入，才干形成家校联合的强大力量。我现在最大的愿望就是能看到每个学生能够每天保质保量地完成单词，词组和句子的默写，完成课文的朗读，让孩子们一天天茁壮生长，是我们一起的愿望。

Its one of the best primary schools in my city. There are more than 1,500 students in our school. There are three tall buildings in our school. They all have five floors.Two of them are teaching buildings. The other is library and gym. The teaching buildings are huge and the classroom is large and bright. There are plenty of books in the library.The library is on the second floor. The science rooms are on the third floor. The computer rooms are on the third floor and the fourth floor. There are five gardens in our school. In the gardens there are many beautiful flowers，grass and trees. There is a big playground in my school.

We have six classes every day. The first class begins at 7:50 am.
