Most people would like to be popular with others,but not everyone canachieve this goal. What is the secret to popularity? In fact,it is very simple.The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that westay in good shape and dress well.
When we are healthy and well'groomed,we will not only look better but alsofeel better. In addition,we should smile and appear friendly. After all,ourfacial expression is an important part of our appearance. If we can do this,people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.
Another important step is developing more consideration for others. Weshould always put others first and place their interests before our own. It'salso important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel fortableenough to confide in us. However,no matter what we do,we must not gossip.

我叫Linda，是南山外国语学校五(2)班的学生。今天我站在这里，心情十分激动。我要感谢教师和同学们给了我这次竞选的机会!
我是一个乐于助人、乖巧文静的女孩。平常喜欢帮教师分担任务。每年都被评为“三好学生”或“优秀班干部”。我非常喜欢阅读和游泳。我博览群书，增加我的视野;我激流勇上，增强我的`体质。我每次英语考试成绩都在95分以上。
我不仅英语学习成绩好，而且我做的英文海报和我的英语书写，也是很厉害的!我在业余时间里或假期里，我喜欢看英语报、读英文书、唱英文歌
我从二年级到五年级，都是英语课代表，所以我有决心和经验来承担英语课代表这个职责。虽然我的口语能力还有待提高，但是我会继续努力的!
