**县位于陕西东南部，地处秦岭南麓，属长江流域汉江水系，境内旅游资源十分丰富，资源种类齐全，集生态旅游、体验民俗、休闲娱乐、科研考古、问道探险等于一体，各具特色，极具吸引力，形成了以国家级森林公园天竺山为轴心的鹘岭山系旅游资源分布区、以省级风景名胜区月亮洞为龙头的金钱河百里旅游资源分布区、以漫川古镇为载体的人文旅游资源分布区的三大旅游资源区。天竺山景区位于**县城东南部30公里处，总面积50.8平方公里，海拔2073.98米，景内山势陡峭，风光秀丽，景色宜人，既有伴山之雄伟，又有武当之灵秀，其山险、峰秀、地特、林茂的独特生态资源，道佛交替、源远流长的人文景观弛名省内外，
12008年被国家批准为国家级森林公园。
近年来，我们抢抓关天经济区、西安一小时经济圈和交通区位诸多优势，及时确立并实施“旅游活县”战略，坚持政府主导、市场运作、梯次开发、精品带动的工作思路，举全县之力打造天竺山国家森林公园精品景区，加快景区基础设施建设，完善旅游服务体系，培育旅游文化，开发旅游产品，旅游要素不断丰富，目前，天竺山国家森林公园已成为秦岭生态旅游区的一颗璀璨明珠，今天我们相约大秦岭，走进天竺山，身临天竺感受神奇美妙的自然风光，共赏天竺美景、同谋旅游发展，让我们携起手来为秦岭生态旅游的发展贡献力量。同时，希望各级领导、各界朋友关注**，了解**，走进**，积极参与**旅游事业的发展。
