我心目中的偶像
各位同学、各位老师，大家好！今天/我演讲的题目是：我心目中的偶像。
说起“偶像”，相信同学们/都并不陌生，它也正是/源于我们的生活。在这个世界上，有许多/可以值得我们崇拜/和学习的榜样，无论追逐怎样的偶像，他都是有优点/可以去欣赏的、去学习的，今天，与大家分享的/是我的偶像——比尔盖茨。
比尔盖茨，是一名美国企业家，软件工程师，慈善家/以及微软公司的董事长，由他主导的微软公司/是全球最大的电脑软件供应商，所开发的电脑软件/几乎遍布全球所有的电脑。从小精力旺盛，善于思考的他，不惜从哈佛辍学，开始自己创办/电脑软件公司，同时/也开启了人生了一个新篇章。
比尔盖茨/从小酷爱读书，尽管是个儿童，但他喜欢读成人的书。这个7岁的小男孩/最喜欢反复看个没完的，是那套/《世界图书百科全书》。他经常几个小时地连续阅读/这本几乎有他体重1／3的大书，一字一句地/从头到尾地看。他常常陷入沉思，冥冥之中/似乎强烈地感觉到，小小的文字/和巨大的书本，里面藏着多么神奇/和魔幻般的一个世界啊！文字的符号竟能把前人/和世界各地的人们无数有趣的事情，记录下来，又传播出去。他又想，人类历史/将越来越长……那么以后的百科全书/不是越来越大而又笨重了吗？能有什么好办法造出一个魔盒来，只要小小的香烟盒那么大，就能包罗万象/地把一大本百科全书全都收进去，该有多方便。这个奇妙的思想火花，后来/竟给他实现了，而且/比香烟盒还要小，只要一块小小的芯片就行了。 比尔盖茨不论做任何事情/都会全心全意，花上所有时间，去最出色得完成。一次，老师布置同学们/写一篇不超过20页的故事，盖茨浮想联翩，竟写出长达100页的神奇/而又曲折无比的故事，令老师和同学都十分惊讶！大家都说他：“不管做什么事，总喜欢来个登峰造极，不鸣则已，一鸣惊人，不然/是不会甘心的。”
此后，更大的难题/摆在了他和父母的面前：比尔〃盖茨/要离开哈佛，放弃锦秀的学业，和别人一起创办电脑公司！比尔艰难地与父母进行多次交谈，平静地表达了自己的想法。了解儿子秉性和志向的父母/又能说什么呢！或许儿子的天赋/与计算机事业是最佳的切合点吧！比尔〃盖茨便毅然离开了/令亿万学子向往的哈佛大学，开始在软件领域/大展鸿图。1975年比尔正式创办微软公司，二十多年后，成为世界顶尖首富，个人资产近200亿美元！
但是就是这样一个/在1994年就登上福布斯全球首富榜/并一直雄踞13年的比尔盖茨，生活、家庭都如此简朴。他没有自己的私人飞机，公务旅行不坐飞机头等舱/却做经济舱，只对打折商品感兴趣，不愿为泊车多花几美元……在很多不同的场合，他说：“我只是财富的/保管者。”时至今日，这一切的一切/终于尘埃落定，人们终于知道了比尔盖茨的最准确的财产数——5800亿美元。而这样巨大的一笔财产，他都尽数捐给名下的基金会，一分一毫/没留给自己的子女，他甚至把自己/也捐给了慈善事业，退休后，每周还会抽空/去基金会上班。于是这个世界上多了一个新名词——裸捐。
永远/都不会太计较，存一颗进取之心，这/就是微软公司的创始人，这/就是我心目中的偶像——比尔盖茨。
