第一篇:两分钟英语演讲稿
I tell you an experience of myself happened last week. lastthursday our school was tackling something about woking fou study. i wanted to have a try even though i knew the salary was so low and i had little chance, because the students who had the certificate were always thought to have priority to get the job. fortunately i was called at noon and a teacher said to me that she wanted me to work for her and asked if i could change my mind. at that moment i was so excited that immediately i accepted her idea. but later on,she found me that im not a student,so i had little chance and suggest me to get one.
Then an idea occurred to me that i could call my father and ask him to send me the letter. at the same time i was told that i was admitted to the job and dont need the certificate. that time i forgot to remind my father, until the next day he called me that he had posted it and it would arrive in just one day. at that moment i was moved, and even moved into tears, because i knew my father was injured not long before, the process of helping me with the affairs was not so convenient for him. but he tried his best to help me. sometimes we may complain about unsatisfying things around us,and blame them on our parents, sometimes theyll be angry with us, and sometimes we cant quite understand what they are thinking about. but on balance, almost every parent is selfless to his or her child. they are ready to offer everything to us when we are in bad situation. we used to sharing sorrow with them, but do not forget to share our happiness with them, perhaps they will be much happier than we are.
So from now on, lets care more about our parents and do not leave pity to them. thats what i want to tell you today. thank you!

Dear teachers and students
hello everyone!
Gorky said: "books are the ladder of human progress." Everyone's growth and progress are inseparable from books, so the topic of my speech today is "I love reading".
I love reading, because books can enrich my knowledge. Through reading, I know that the motherland has a long and splendid culture; through reading, I see the rapid development of science and technology in today's world. Thousands of years, tens of thousands of miles, I saw a colorful world through the window of the book. I love reading, because books can make me understand the truth of life. I learned to love. I sympathized with the little match girl. I cared about the fate of bronze. I admired Madame Curie's rigorous and studious attitude, Qian Xuesen and Li Siguang's patriotism. I learned to hate. I despised the stupid king. I ridiculed Chekov's "chameleon". I hated Japan's aggression against China and Hitler's atrocity of extermination
Students, let's love reading! With books, we will have the whole world, with books, we will have a better tomorrow!
My speech is over, thank you!

I have a question for you. ‘Do you know how to breathe?’ Okay, I know what you are thinking now, “Girl, are you kidding me? Everybody knows how to breathe.” Actually, if I were you sitting down in there one year ago, I would think, “How did she make it to the final?”
Alright, seriously speaking, what I am talking about is “the art of breathing”, and it’s about breathing in a Yoga way: peacefully and always under control. What it reveals is the real essence of perseverance, “In order to achieve, sometimes, you need to wait.” And when it comes to things you really want in life, it is as hard as it could possibly be.
For me, singing is a life thing. When I am singing on the stage, I feel whole-heartedly involved, and the self-fulfillment it renders is inexplicably thrilling. But with all the realistic problems I need to face in life, all those I want seem too far to be true– so far that I am terrified that I will never ever be able to get there and that gradually I will be carried away by the currents and torrents of life. I’ve been drowned into this ambivalence for so long. Now, with a refined perspective towards self-realization, I am waiting, in a graceful posture, and knowing that I am going to get there. And on this, I should say, I owe Yoga a thank-you.
I still remember, about one year ago, I attended a Yoga course for the very first time. And to tell you the truth, I went there for a nice figure. However, after practicing for some time, I discovered that there was an ineffable inner-strength burgeoning sneakily in me while I totally focused. In order not to let go this significant power, I started to picture all I wanted in my mind while I was fully concentrating, for I believe the wings of imagination could make things possible. I learned to breathe with my dreams, shaping the eagerness into this elegant gesture of persisting.
And now, if you ask me what exactly is “the art of breathing”, I would say it is indeed “the art of living”. It combines the search of balance, the grace of patience, and the awareness of appreciation.
So even though feelings are tied up with life routines, I could still hold onto that free EGO which I have always adored: the girl who is singing under the spotlight, with all her heart and soul; the girl who is persevering with all she believes in and always feels grateful for what has been bestowed on her.
That girl is now standing right here in front of you, hoping that you are all as lucky as she is, living with dreams and love. No matter how tough things get, I tell myself, I tell myself that, every single thing I am doing now is every step closer to that very moment of my trajectory, just like every Yoga breath to every blossom moment of my life.

love has magical power that can exploit people's potential abilities, bring people's positive factors into full play, and provide people with the courage to face trials and hardships, to go through life and death, and even to risk universal condemnation. even in the ancient feudal society, some people were courageous enough to carry on clandestine love affairs. the examples in point were the courageous ones who dared to love the concubines of the emperors or the children of their foes. love also has miraculous power which can startle the universe and move the gods by attracting the heavenly celestials coming down to earth ( the love story of the cowboy and the weaving girl ),and by turning ghosts into human ( strange tales of liao-zhai ),love can transcend age and generation (dr. sun yat-sen and madam song qingling; luxun and xu guangping).love can show contempt for all conventions and prejudices; love can heal wounds and cure diseases, and love can readjust people's state of mind. of course, the result would be the opposite once it hurts.
great men yearn for true love even more than ordinary people. since the ancient times, so many heroes couldn't help falling into the trap of love that the sex-trap has been regarded as one of the 36 stratagems in military tactics. fuchai, the king of the wu state, couldn't be spared of this trap, and generals dongzhuo and lubu fell deeply into it while xiangyu, the king of the western chu state , bid farewell to his beloved concubine in tears. people may have to pay very high price, even their illustrious name for the love they long for even though it may last for only a very short time. nonetheless no one can tear himself away from love. people often say that their earthly affinity is not yet finished, but in fact it is the love affinity that is the most difficult to finish.

Today, the Internet is best described as a network of computers spread across the world, making use of fibre optic cables, telephone lines and satellites to communicate with other computers in the network. The Internet makes use of vacant bandwidth in the telecommunications network to send messages from computer to computer, rather than relying on an entirely new infrastructure.
A standardised addressing system identifies specific computers, making it easy for other computers to hold information about what information other computers are storing and where they are. When we make use of the World Wide Web we are using this addressing system to go to a specific computer, either in Melbourne or possibly on the other side of the world, to read files stored on that computer. While any computer is connected to the network it is described as a "node" on the Internet, and with appropriate software we can use even a desktop computer to "serve" files to the rest of the world. It is the simplicity of this networking which has caused it to seize the imagination of users and to grow exponentially.
The Internet, and particularly the World Wide Web, has revolutionised the way we communicate. It is likely that fax machines will go the way of the telegraph and the telex, and while the Internet in ten years will probably look quite different from that which we see now, it is certain to have become even more pervasive.
The most commonly used parts of the Internet today include email, newsgroups, File Transfer Protocol, Internet Relay Chat, and of course the World Wide Web. Other areas which are rapidly growing include Internet telephony and video conferencing.
第六篇:3分钟的英语演讲稿
School begins, I changed from the fourth grade to the fifth grade now. In the eyes of young students, I'm already a big brother, and I'm also a good example for junior students. I want to give full play to my advantages and leave them a good impression. First of all, I have to change my characters. Although my handwriting is OK, it's a little bit "lopsided". I must change it when it's not serious.
I also need to learn how to save. Although the covers we use for wrapping books are getting old, they can be recycled. However, there are still some people who have enough old book covers at home and urge their mother to buy a new one. There are also some people in order to save newspapers or already useless posters wrapped in the cover, and then write XX books. I advocate this practice, which saves parents' or their own money and is durable. There are also stationery, some people clearly have pens at home, but also go outside to buy some back. You know, it's a lot cheaper to use the old one than to buy the new one. Although I am the same, but I will try my best to correct it, because I know that the money of my parents is hard won, and the money is earned by their sweat and labor. Usually we ask our parents for money when we are free, so 1 yuan, 2 yuan, 5 yuan. As time goes by, don't our parents spend all the money they earn from their hard work? Isn't the money parents have made over the years in vain? We should try to spend less of our parents' money.
From now on, I will do a little bit of things around me, students have difficulties to help him as much as possible, strive to be the three good students of this semester.
