大家好!
首先要感谢领导，老师，同学们给了我机会，使我能够站在朝夕相处的同学面前发表演讲，抒发自己的心声，与大家一起分享，互相交流，共同勉励。今天，我的演讲题目是“勤奋学习，报效祖国”。
我们的祖国曾经是一个贫穷积弱的国家，1949年新中国成立，党领导全国人民自力更生、艰苦奋斗，建设现代化的社会主义国家，取得了举世瞩目的伟大胜利，使我们的祖国从贫穷落后变成繁荣昌盛，人民过上幸福小康生活。此时此刻，让我们每个人怀着兴奋的心情，睁开明媚的双眼，去看看今日之中国：从冰天雪地的北国大地，到阳光灿烂的南海之滨;从麦浪滚滚的黄河两岸，到稻花飘香的长江流域;从巍峨庄严的天安门广场，到高耸云霄的东方明珠塔;一片繁荣兴旺，处处和谐幸福。这就是我们的党领导全国人民所取得的丰功伟绩，是写在中国历史上最辉煌的篇章。
我们是生长在美丽祖国，实现中华民族伟大复兴时代的青年学生，看着共和国翻天覆地的沧桑巨变，要增强爱国主义感情，热爱我们伟大的祖国，热爱我们伟大的人民，热爱我们可爱的家乡，加强民族团结，在中国共产党的领导下，把我们的祖国建设得更加强大、更加繁荣、更加和谐，实现中华民族的伟大复兴，让中华民族屹立于世界民族之林，闪耀无比绚烂的光彩。
学校是学生的大家庭，我们彼此心连心，手拉手。我们生长在不同家庭，来自各个民族，但我们却拥有同一片蓝天，拥有一个共同目标：高举党旗跟党走，勤奋学习，快乐生活，全面发展，为建设幸福家乡而努力奋斗!
“书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟。”“不经一番寒彻苦，哪来梅花扑鼻香。”没有汗水的浇灌，怎能收获成功的喜悦?没有勤劳的付出，哪有实现梦想的甘甜?我们青年学生要刻苦学习，努力实践，掌握扎实的科学文化知识，练就建设祖国、建设家乡的真本领，将来成为中国特色社会主义事业的合格建设者，把祖国建设得更加富裕，把家乡建设更加美丽，让我们的父辈，家乡的父老乡亲刮目相看，赞不绝口。

Earn english not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.when i learn english, i can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.when i read english novels,i can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.when i speak english, i can feel the confident from my words.when i write english,i can see the beauty which is not the same as our chinese...
I love english,it gives me a colorful dream.i hope i can travel around the world one day. with my good english, i can make friends with many people from different contries.i can see many places of great intrests.i dream that i can go to london,because it is the birth place of english.

Good morning everyone!
My name is Jie Lidi. Today, my topic is: “Confidence”. As we all know, failure is the mother of success. But What I want to say is that success is the child of confidence. Without confidence, things can become negative and uncomfortable. I remember, during an English class, I wanted to make a sentence using the word "listen". I should have said: "I listen to the Voice of America" but I was too nervous and said "I listen to the Noise of America". Everybody in the class laughed. Since then I wanted to train myself to be confident. Now, confidence makes me brave and courageous. Take this speech for example. I wanted to enter this competition, but I would feel very embarrassed if I made mistakes. Just then, I thought about my dream. My dream is to become a scientist when I grow up. If I am not confident, how can I overcome difficulties I face? If I am not confident, how can I succeed in developing myself in the future? I will do it! Today, I am making a speech in public and I feel proud and confident!
I am sure, in the future, with confidence, I will go forward-always forward. Confidence will make my dreams come true! Thank you!
