二．调查结果
该地区位西安市Xx县Xx，地理位置离县城较远，按规定学校必须从小学三年级开始英语教学，但学校的专业英语教师只有一人，学校没有语音等教学设备。在参与调查的28人当中，对于如何解决英语学习上的困难，75%的同学认为请教老师；对于利用网络解决英语学习困难的问题和英语互动教学，没有同学知道这回事；大约90%的同学认为学校的师资和英语学习氛围很差。调查中发现90%的同学没听说过什么是“英语角”这样的活动。
三、调查情况
在本次调查过程中发现了一些农村小学英语教育中普遍存在的问题。其中有以下几个较为突出问题：
问题之一：纵观我镇六所小学， 这些小学中均开设了英语课程。英语课在小学三年级开始学习小学英语课程。就我校来说整个学校只有三名固定英语教师，每周只有两节英语课。部分学生学习习惯较差校根本不学英语，小学英语课课时及教师配备是学生学习英语差异较大的主要原因之一。学生进入初中后，由于对英语学习的要求有所提高，学习英语对他们来说是一大难题，因为没有兴趣或着第二兴趣培养还没完成，在单词，背诵，句型理解和语法等问题前无法招架，开始放弃对英语的学习。
问题之二：对于日常用语，模仿对话录音部分，学生掌握较牢固。但由于学生自己没有磁带，课后不能进行听力复习，不熟悉原音发音，因此有些学校出现教师教读、领读、朗读的现象，完全替代了原声磁带的作用。这样下去，不利于学生形成英语思维，更不利于学生以后的英语学习活动。
四、解决方案
1、 组织办英语手抄报
以小组为单位办月报，以班级为单位办周报，在各班选拔优秀小编辑办校报。
2、 组织办英语板报
要求板报信息量大，更精炼，易于读者接受与喜爱，并且制定固定的更新周期和轮流出版制度。
3、 学习英文歌曲
利用晨会课、校园广播站定期、定时播放英语歌曲，让学生逐渐得到美的旋律及西方国家文化知识及社会风情的熏陶。
4、英语兴趣活动
（1）英语竞赛
英语竞赛的项目有很多，如知识抢答、听力测试、笔试等等，通过丰富多彩、紧张激烈的竞赛活动提高学生学习英语的学习热情与积极性。
（2）英语游戏
英语游戏活动形式多，也便于开展及学生的广泛参与，深受学生的喜爱。应加大在这一方面的组织力度、深度与强度。
（3）英语兴趣小组
组织各班英语爱好者组成英语兴趣小组，利用业余时间丰富学生的英语知识面，提供英语实践与交流的时间与空间与机会。
（４）英语角
在校园中营造一个英语天地，师生之间自由自在畅所欲言，就英语学习的各方面进行交流与分享。同时，吸引更多同学参与进来，进行语言交流。

四、 调查的结果分析
1、近年来，随着农业产业结构的调整、城市化进程的加快，人口迁移流动日益频繁，大批农村劳动者离开家乡，进城从事二、三产业。由于我县是劳务输出大县，加之我校地处阜南城乡结合处，我校有将近有一半的学生是留守儿童，占学生总人数的44.7% 这些孩子有的是与其他亲戚生活在一起，有的是和外公外婆爷爷奶奶生活在一起，另外的则寄宿在别人家里或者是自己生活。由于老人与这些留守儿童思想观念差异极大，存在明显的沟通障碍，教育管理上弊端较多，由于种种原因，他们也没有能力去辅导孩子的英语学习；独立生活的孩子更是糟糕，他们既要学习，还有学会照顾自己，几乎处于放任自流的状态。因此这些留守儿童的英语学习就成为了一个令老师和家长感到非常棘手的问题。
2、通过调查我们发现，我校有2.9%的学生是单亲家庭的孩子，在单亲家庭中，由于家庭的变故，使他们经常处于不安、紧张、忧愁和思念的情绪之中，严重阻碍其生理及心理的健康发展，家庭亲情缺失的情况非常严重。在这些家庭中，父亲和母亲的角色由一个人承担起来了，他们也没有更多的时间去教育和辅导孩子的学习，因此这样的家庭难免会对孩子的成长和他们的英语学习产生严重的不良影响。
3、众所周知，良好的英语习惯能推动学生英语学习的进步，不良的英语学习习惯不但会严重阻碍学生英语学习的进步，而且也会影响学生学习英语的兴趣。调查发现，我校有不良英语学习习惯的学生占总学生人数的75.5%，这一数字让我校英语老师感到十分吃惊。这
些学生在英语学习过程中都存在下列不良习惯。在书写方面，有的学生书写不规范，喜欢把两个单词连起来写，或者把一个单词写成两个“单词”，在阅读方面，有些学生朗读英语不是大声地读，而是在小声地读或默读，课堂上不少学生不敢大声读、说英语，回答问题时几乎听不见。在单词方面，学习生词不是按音标去拼读，模仿录音或老师的读音，而是用汉字注音，按照谐音读，背诵时纯粹死记硬背。在作业和考试方面，也存在作业拖拉、缺交、抄袭，考试作弊等种种现象；还有一类学生常常是课堂上听得懂，会做，课后却不会巩固落实，更何况预习这一环节了。总之，这一数字严重影响了我校学生英语学习成绩的提高。
综上三组数据分析，我校进行《在英语教学中实施学困生包保的研究与探讨》这一课题的研究有着重要的现实意义；与此同时，这一课题的研究也是提高我校学生英语学习成绩的要求和有效途径。我们可喜的发现，由于我校英语老师都具有很高的敬业精神和工作热情，喜欢英语老师的学生占总学生数的72.7%，喜欢英语学科的学生占62.9%。有了这两组数字，我校全体英语老师就有能力，更有信心去提高我校学生的英语成绩，并出色的完成本课题的研究。
